Product Overview

InterBRIDGE® is an easy-to-use interspinous fixation device designed to provide rigid fixation and stabilization of adjacent vertebrae. It is inserted via
a minimally invasive, unilateral approach which preserves patient anatomy including maintenance of the supraspinous.


Preserves patient anatomy

  • Allows for preservation of supraspinous ligament
  • Preserves pedicles for future surgical intervention (should it be necessary)

  • Implant from patient right or patient left
  • Implant with patient in prone or lateral decubitis position

Product Comparison

When compared to traditional pedicle screws, the InterBRIDGE system may:

  • Require less lateral dissection and less retraction
  • Reduce the risk of neural and vascular injury1-2
  • Offer intraoperative benefits such as reduced operative time, reduced blood loss, and reduced radiation exposure 3-5

When compared to traditional interspinous fixation systems, the InterBRIDGE system may:

  • Require less lateral dissection and less retraction due to the unique insertion via a minimally invasive, unilateral approach

Surgical Technique

The InterBRIDGE® System is a posterior, non-pedicle supplemental fixation device intended for single-level use only in the non-cervical spine (T1-S1). It is intended for plate fixation/attachment to spinous processes for the purpose of achieving supplemental fusion in the following conditions:

  • Degenerative disc disease (defined as back pain of discogenic origin with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies).
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Trauma (fracture or dislocation)
  • Tumor
